The Moscow Girls' Cadet Boarding School is a military school for young women in Russia. Click here to see some beautiful photographs of these girls. As interesting (and slightly terrifying) as this is, I still can't help but be excited for this girls. I think it's pretty badass.
I love that their outfits are feminine and they're not butched up soldiers. I think this is excellent starting ground for story telling and I would love to illustrate a book (hire me?) about these girls. Or better yet, I would much rather watch something like this . . . than Brave.
Some of you may remember this idea from last year --> Old post.
I haven't given up on her! She's one of the favorite character's I've made.
The not-so-happy-bride. I think marriage is a big commitment for both sides, and I don't like that bride-characters are usually portrayed as extremely eager. I'd be a nervous wreck, even if I did meet the right person. Although, I wouldn't be a Bridezilla.
This is a real place!! They've been trapped in one lake for so long without predators that they evolved without stingers.
