Bein' Brave

The new teaser trailer is out for Brave, looking pretty cool. I know, messy messy. One day I'll learn to clean up my stuff.

The girl, Merida? Reminds me of my friend April... Check out her stuff too!

First Week of Summer

I'm in desperate need of an update on this thing, but I've been spending most of my break thus far learning to drive (I passed the behind the wheel, hooray!) and thinking about a bunch of things.

This is something that didnt work out, but it lead to something else with similar characters. Hopefully this something else will work out. I'm starting to really connect with this idea more. Neither design (or the setting) is final!

DANCE HALL DASH-completed!

Here's my film for this year, finally posting on blogger. It's an improvement from where I was before, which is a good step in the right direction.

Mother's Day

"I wont wear any shoes today."

When I was younger, back in the days of private religious schools and uniforms...
I was perfect like any other child.

I was exceedingly difficult to deal with, I hated shoes and social situations and I bit my nails. I still am difficult so I appreciate my mother putting up with me.
Happy Mother's Day! :P

Development for Film and Doodles

I might make this a summer project instead? Also, let's make an effort to have frequent updates now that films are done, agreed?

Film Characters for next year?

A BOY. Just like I promised.  I do draw guys I just don't think my drawings of them are usually any good.
I'll get better scans of these when I can! For now, cruddy video cam pictures! Film will be posted soon along with more belated updates.
Story on the braaaaaaaain.

Doodles of my Mom

So, during crunch time for films I was stressing about sound design and a few other things...to calm myself down I did these.

There are many many new things to think about and consider this year. I thought back to pictures of my mom in her 20's because a lot of people say we look alike, I think there is a strong resemblance.

For me the image that has always stuck out the most of my mom is one where she is in rainy weather with a big navy sweater over her skirt. I'm pretty sure it was one of the ones she made for herself.
I think that if a mom is doing her job, she would be like the stay at home Audrey Hepburn. She's not perfect, but she's beautiful and quirky in her own way.
